The Kings

IT CAN BE DONE! The Retro Dog challenge has been conquered. It took a professional food eater (who wants to remain anonymous) to complete the delicious task. In 58 minutes and 24 seconds he was able to devour all nine specialty dogs, (Retro Dog, Carolina Dog, White Hot, Kraut Dog, Chicago Dog, Retro Veggie, Red Hot, The Beast, and the Monster Dog) one order of fries and onion rings, A Retro Bomb and one frosted mug of Retro Dog Root Beer. His two full trays of food, drink and dessert, weighing in at nearly 7 pounds of pure delight, are truly a sight to behold. It was not easy. Using all but 36 seconds that remained, he completed the task with a smile. His meal was free and he received a Retro Dog T-shirt. He can proudly say he is the first to have defeated the Retro Dog challenge. Hip Hip Hooray! Share what’s good.

A Second King Has Been Crowned! When the food is this good, you make room! The Retro Dog food challenge has been conquered for the second time by professional food eater, Craig Reed. He was able to eat and enjoy all nine specialty dogs, (Retro Dog, Carolina Dog, White Hot, Kraut Dog, Chicago Dog, Retro Veggie, Red Hot, The Beast, and the Monster Dog) one order of fresh cut fries, onion rings, A Retro Bomb and one frosted mug of Retro Dog Root Beer in under a half hour. His two full trays of food, drink and dessert, weighing in at nearly 7 pounds of pure delight, were truly a sight to behold. However, he added three cups of water in order to wash the dogs down. His enthusiasm and energy entertained the crowd while he completed the challenge. Afterwards, he spoke of having pizza later that same night. His meal was free and he received a Retro Dog T-shirt. He is only the second person to complete this delicious task. Congratulations Craig! Share what’s good.

Four brave Doggies decided to take on the Retro Dog Challenge. They started off fast and hard, but threw in the towel after 45 minutes. Nevertheless, JT, Kyle, Patrick, and Benjamin were all in high spirits.

Our smiling Retro Dog Challenger pre- and post-challenge. We commend your efforts! Share what's good.

Daniel gave it a try. We had big expectations for Daniel and he was confident and eager for the challenge. He gave it his all, however the challenge was not met. He ate and drank  5 dogs, the fries, Retro Bomb and root beer. He could not defeat The Beast, Chicago Dog, Retro Veggie or the Red Hot.

Anthony was our first challenger.  A valiant effort, he ate and drank  three dogs, the fries, onion rings, Retro Bomb and root beer.
